Whisper of an Extinguished Flame – What Geometry Saves Your Life?

Whisper of an Extinguished Flame – What Geometry Saves Your Life?
For me it’s the amazing motion graphics of  Federico Gonzalez,
and the powerful architecture of  Santiago Calatrava.

Decoconstructing Words

I want you to know the edges of the word desperate.
They are smooth the way fear slithers down your spine.
They are scalpel sharp and at one edge they dare you to test
your sense of courage,
at the other they invite you to creep away, hide beneath
the fallen leaves, crisp winter cover.
Take a match to the word desperate, find the smaller bit, despair,
decompress – an implosion of the heart, a trail of smoke
the whisper of an extinguished flame.
The edges of the words we cannot speak, the choking
balmless blindness of us,
what geometry saves your life?
