Kiss by kiss I Cover Your Infinity – Pablo Neruda

Choros from Michael Langan

(Above video) A chorus of women are borne from the movements of a single dancer in this dreamlike “pas de trente-deux.” “Choros” premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2012 and has gone on to play dozens of festivals worldwide.

I’ll give to my time
one last breath, I will look for your heavens,
It will be a trip without returning
the mirror on another world,
your eyes colour

They’ll be blessed moments
the voices of the shining Stars
I’ll try moments of glory in your kisses,
the contours of your delicate features,
the last sighs of my heart

Your voice will make me tremble inside,
I’ll throw away the garment of sorrow,
I’ll wear sunshine
new eras are coming
to sculpt my forms
in every gesture of your hands

I’ll set aside the boundaries,
I’ll follow Your footsteps with bare feet
I’ll write on the walls
my desperate cry
I’ll burn of Immortal Fire,
blood of Love into my veins

I need your name,
I’ll find the solution
and the secret key,
You will be forever
my unreachable destination

In her own words: Spiritual, a lover of knowledge and Art. Sincere at all costs. Visionary. I believe in friendship, in respect for all, in solidarity,
in good words, in simple gestures, in sincere smiles. The books are my world. Writing is my life. I love poetry. I hate the banality, the mediocrity and superficiality. I LOVE MY HUSBAND I do not know the light of the badness.

Carnal Apple, Woman Filled, Burning Moon

Carnal apple, Woman filled, burning moon,
dark smell of seaweed, crush of mud and light,
what secret knowledge is clasped between your pillars?
What primal night does Man touch with his senses?
Ay, Love is a journey through waters and stars,
through suffocating air, sharp tempests of grain:
Love is a war of lightning,
and two bodies ruined by a single sweetness.
Kiss by kiss I cover your tiny infinity,
your margins, your rivers, your diminutive villages,
and a genital fire, transformed by delight,
slips through the narrow channels of blood
to precipitate a nocturnal carnation,
to be, and be nothing but light in the dark.

About Pablo Neruda

Home: Santiago, Chile
Occupation: Poet, Diplomat
Nationality: Chilean
Notable award: Nobel Prize in Literature 1971

Neruda became known as a poet while still a teenager. He wrote in a variety of styles including surrealist poems, historical epics, overtly political manifestos, a prose autobiography, and erotically-charged love poems such as the ones in his 1924 collection Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair. He often wrote in green ink colour as it was his personal symbol for desire and hope with his poetry. Colombian novelist Gabriel García Márquez once called him “the greatest poet of the 20th century in any language.”
